History
In 2010 Brad Russell started CMHS Baseball to offer central Missouri's only homeschool baseball opportunity. It remains the only option today for homeschool boys. After his youngest son graduated, Coach Russell turned over the head coaching responsibilities in 2011 to J.R. Smith, former pitcher for Southwest Baptist University.
Coach Smith oversaw many successes and changes in the program. In 2012, the team won the first Missouri Homeschool State Championship with only ten players. Six of those ultimately played college baseball.

The Saints opened their self-built home field in 2014. The field is located behind Grace Bible Church, which graciously allowed us to build and maintain the field. The beginning work on the field was done by three former players for their Eagle Scout projects - Andrew Russell, Timothy Russell, and Samuel Jones. We've continued to add amenities with the hard work of players, coaches, and parents.

At the end of the 2016 season, J.R. decided to take a step back from his head coaching responsibilities. He served as our Board of Directors President from 2017 - 2022.

Ryan Silverwood joined the team in 2016 as an assistant coach and became head coach in 2017. After leading the Saints through 2021 Ryan stepped down to follow his son, and former Saints player, Mason in his college baseball career at William Woods University. Ryan is now a member of the team's Board of Directors.

In 2022 Coach Gary McNamee took over the helm. Coach Mac was a pitcher, catcher, and centerfielder for Bryan College in Tennessee in the early 1980s. He began our first Fall program in 2021.

For the 2023 season Coach Will Kennon will the head coaching duties after serving as Assistant Coach in 2022.
